Reverse Psychology in NetZero Ad?

Ok, so let me get this straight.

NetZero CEO Mark Goldston gets on TV and proclaims he has good news for all Internet broadband users.

The good news? We can save $300 per year by switching to NetZero!

Ditch your Broadband for slow dial-up, and save money!

I'd like to know what ad exec came up with that pitch. Is this reverse psychology, or do they think with the economy the way it is, everyone is eager to dump Broadband for dial up just to save a few dollars?

I think I'll just eat out less...
